Canceling Your Subscription
How cancellation works — and what happens to your data.
No retention mazes: cancellation is self-serve and takes under a minute.
Steps
- Open Dashboard → Billing → Manage billing (the Stripe portal).
- Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.
That's it. No phone call, no "let me transfer you".
What happens next
- You keep full plan access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- After that, the account moves to the Free plan — it is not deleted.
- All your work is retained: classifications, documents, reports, audit history. You can log in, view everything, and re-upgrade any time to pick up exactly where you left off.
Before you go
Generate exports of anything you might need while access is still on your paid tier — PDFs from each document module and CSV/JSON from Dashboard → Export. See Export Formats. Your compliance evidence should outlive any subscription, ours included.
On a trial?
Nothing to cancel — the trial requires no card and converts to Free automatically when it ends.
Deleting your account entirely
If you want your data erased (not just the subscription ended), contact support from your account email and we'll process the deletion in line with our privacy policy.
