Using AI to Generate Content
How AI-assisted drafting works, and where the responsibility stays.
Several generators (Annex IV, transparency notices, remediation suggestions, the assistant) can draft text with an LLM so you're editing instead of staring at a blank section.
How it works
- You provide the facts: what the system does, its data, its users. The AI turns those facts into structured draft prose for the section you're on.
- Drafts are suggestions. Nothing enters your document until you accept it, and every field stays editable.
The rules we follow
- The AI never invents facts about your system — it works from what you entered. If a section needs information you haven't provided, it asks rather than fabricates.
- Your compliance documents are generated on demand and belong to you; export them any time.
The rules you should follow
- Review every sentence. You are legally responsible for the accuracy of your technical documentation — "the AI wrote it" is not a defence under the Act.
- Don't paste secrets or personal data into free-text fields; describe systems at the architectural level.
- Treat AI drafting as the 80% that saves time, and spend your attention on the 20% that's specific to your system — that's the part a regulator reads closely too.
